Japanese New Year “O-shogatsu” celebration

The Japanese call the beginning of the year “O-Shogatsu” and value it very much. Therefore, there are many events and customs.

One of them is to decorate the entrance of the house with “shime-kazari” to pray for the visit of God and happiness.

At the end of the year, “Shime-kazari”s are sold everywhere in the city, but you can also make it yourself.

There are various designs and decorations, but if you add Tsumami-zaiku here, it will become more gorgeous.
If you are in Japan during the New Year, please enjoy watching it.
