Tsumami zaiku workshop for native English teachers

We did a workshop for English teachers who are living in Japan.

Many foreign people come to Japan to be English teachers and all of them love Japan.

Since it was a training for children’s workshop for the summer school, we made a simple maru tsumami flower hairpin.

After a brief explanation of tsumami zaiku, the participants will choose the colors and work together to create their own tsumami zaiku.

Usually, most of the participants are women, but this time, male participants also took on the challenge!

Teachers are from Australia, the US, Colombia, etc. It was a great opportunity to have a global conversation!

This summer, we are asked to have a kids’ workshop with them so am really excited
since there will be over 100 kids coming to the event!

We also offer on-site workshops, so please contact us if you are interested!
